In 2010, I worked with Nay Thwin when I gave training as a media trainer for the editors of DVB in Chiang Mai on behalf of the Dutch (media)development organization Free Voice.
As part of this training, Nay Thwin also visited the Netherlands in the same year to get acquainted with Dutch media and the Dutch political system. In the years that followed, I worked with Nay several times in Myanmar to make reports for Dutch media.
